Latin America in Norway
La Bodeguita connects Norway and Latin America through authentic products, food and culture.
About the partner
La Bodeguita is a small pantry in Grünerløkka with a big mission: keep Latin America close to home for those of us living in Norway, and open its doors to Norwegian friends who are curious. Shelves of Mexican corn masa, Colombian coffee roasted last week, Peruvian ajíes, Argentine yerba and the rum, mezcal and pisco we drink at home. Behind the counter, a family that knows every supplier by first name and can tell you exactly where your coffee came from.
Why we love them
Every product is chosen for what it tastes like at home — not what is easiest to import.
Tell them what you are cooking and they will walk you through the right masa, the right chile, the right rum.
Tastings, workshops and the occasional Saturday-morning coffee with whoever drops in.
The first place we send Norwegian friends who want to understand our food without overwhelming them.
From the shelves

Dough discs, three fillings and a printed recipe — make a dozen at home in 40 minutes.
